Over the years, many Sweet Wrappings’ customers
have chosen to order personalized wrappers to go with their event’s chocolate
favors. Some of those customers have opted to wrap the candies
themselves. Others have chosen to gather friends together and host a wrap
party. With that in mind, we decided that it might be nice to share our tips
for hosting such an event:
#1: Serve Inspiring Refreshments
Wrapping chocolate favors can make a person crave
a sweet treat. So we’d recommend providing wrap party attendees with something
to nosh on. The refreshment offerings could be as elaborate or as simple as you
like. One option is to offer an array of chocolate inspired main entrees. They
would most assuredly be a welcome and unexpected treat.
Believe it or not, there are many main entrees
that may be made with chocolate. Ones to consider are braised short ribs, black bean vegetable chili, roast beef and baked tilapia dressed with a chocolate sauce.
Of course you could also opt to serve chocolate inspired soups, appetizers,
side dishes, desserts and drinks too.
#2: Provide Music
Most experts agree that listening to various types
of music has the potential to increase both happiness and productivity. As
such, playing music while everyone wraps chocolate favors may prove to be a
worthwhile endeavor as well. Personally, we’d suggest playing upbeat tunes.
However, your wrap party attendees may prefer mellow tunes instead.
#3: Set-up a Competition
Setting up a competition designed to reward the
person that wraps the most chocolate favors in the shortest amount of time is
another option to consider. You could use extra chocolate favors, chocolate spa
treatments or chocolate scented items as rewards.
#4: Express Gratitude
Lastly, don’t forget to express your gratitude to
everyone that participates in the chocolate wrap party. Examples include
sending out thank-you cards, mentioning participants in press releases and
posting their names on a special bulletin board.
